My Superstars - My Grandparents

My grandma is a teacher and loves to knit,

She loves playing Solitaire and Sudoku, but never has time to sit.

My grandpa loves to deal in shares,

He and his newspaper…. are quite a pair!

My grandparents live in Kolkata where it is quite hot

My grandpa likes gardening and loves his plants a lot!

I like asking my grandparents tough riddles,

Every weekend night they treasure watching Super Dancer and Indian Idol.

Grandpa is really strict..

But he is quite easy to trick.

Sometimes when he calls I pretend, I am sleeping,

And scolds my parents when he sees me weeping.

In these tough times, my grandmother is really hard  to meet 

She says if I behave well I am up for a treat!

Grandpa is bald and my grandma has silky soft hair,

Brilliant, smart and caring grandparents like them are very rare.

By the Beach

    One fine morning, I went to the beach, and I was dazzled by its grandeur. The soothing sound of the waves as they mightily crashed upon the shore!   When the sun rose high into the morning sky, the sky was filled with different hues. The sweet chirping of the migrating birds enhanced our mornings as they flew!   The water of the coconuts was as sweet as honey, falling directly from the trees. Taking a quick breath of the calm and refreshing sea breeze made me feel at ease!   The sand was full of gorgeous seashells, small starfish, and aggressive crabs grasping on to it. After a long and tiring walk on the beach, the swing was the most ideal place to sit!   The beach’s sand was as soft as cotton; I could feel myself being pulled in. Link 7th Aug The weather..  The air through my hair, the breeze brings me ease They are of different types, and beautiful sights  Oh how I love, the weather... 1. The sun is bright, It blinds our sight The sun shines with might, gives out its light We eat juicy fruits, it's a season of different moods Oh how I love this weather 2. When it starts to rain it gets cold  The rain's quite mighty and  Super Bold I wish I could hold on to the rain drops  And I also wish the rain could stop Oh how I love this weather 3. The leaves shed, its like they go to bed The flowers drop, pop pop pop Birds start to prepare, with a lot of despair Oh how I love this weather 4.
